FALL 2023

A haven of community and support for mothers who spend their days covered in both paint and spit-up. Matriart discusses the particularly messy and unpolished moments, gathers inspiration and knowledge from featured mom artists, and supports and celebrates the daily juggling act. Matriart keeps motherhood and creativity not just balanced, but harmoniously coexisting.

OBJECTIVE

Design a publication identity by exploring identity development and effectively convey its essence through the application of typographic theories and principles.

DIRECTION

Creating an identity that was feminine; nurturing and motherly. But by no means dainty.I wanted to stay true to the relatable, non-glorified, comfort-in-the-chaos publication.
